According to Russian officials, Ukraine launched an overnight drone attack on Moscow and several other Russian regions on Sunday.
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported on Telegram that a drone heading towards the capital was destroyed in the area surrounding Moscow.
In addition, Alexander Bogomaz, the governor of the Bryansk region in Russia’s southwest, stated on Telegram that at least 12 drones launched by Ukraine were destroyed over the border region.
Alexei Smirnov, the acting governor of the Kursk region—which has seen partial incursions by Ukraine—reported on Telegram that two unmanned attack vehicles were also shot down in the area.
According to preliminary information from officials, there were no injuries or damage resulting from any of the attacks.
